VELUX Group partners with the Tour de France men’s and women’s cycling events from 2025
The VELUX Group becomes official partner of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes with Zwift for the next three years. These prestigious cycling events will put the leading global roof window maker in the spotlight as the VELUX brand will be on the backs of every rider.
Thereby the basic promise of the VELUX brand, to bring daylight and fresh air into people’s lives, will reach fans of the Tour de France all over the world. In 2024, this reach cumulated to 1 billion TV viewing hours.
Furthermore, an extra 14,000 participants from all over the world participating in the Étape du Tour de France, the largest cycle sports event in Europe, which the VELUX partnership also includes, will get a first-hand experience of daylight and fresh air while competing.
The partnership kicks off from 2025 and covers the 21-stages of the Tour de France event and the 9 stages of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift event. The men’s event runs from July 5-27 and the women’s event runs from July 26 to August 2.
"Both VELUX and Tour de France have strong legacies and the ability to reinvent ourselves and we share the value that success comes from teamwork, persistence and excellence,”
"We are incredibly proud to welcome VELUX, an international group based in Denmark, as a partner of both the men's and women's versions of the Tour de France,” says Yann Le Moënner, Managing Director, ASO. “We share with the VELUX Group a culture of innovation, local roots and the ambition to make a big positive impact wherever we go. Joining forces made perfect sense. We are thrilled to have VELUX at our side to shine a new spotlight on every rider."
Partnership details
Through the partnership, the VELUX brand will be displayed on the bibs located on the back of each rider’s jersey together with their racing number. Furthermore, VELUX will also be associated with the notorious Lantern Rouge of the pelotons and thus be backing the last rider of the race’s General Classification. It is through these brand presences that VELUX will be “Behind Every Rider”, whether they are professionals or amateurs, during the upcoming editions of the Tour de France, Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift and the Etape du Tour de France.
